Major League DJz are making waves abroad as they embark on a tour of the UK taking the Amapiano sound to the world. This comes ahead of the premiere episode of the duos first reality show airing exclusively on MTV Base (DStv Channel 122) Thursday 19 August at 21:30 CAT. The all-new reality show “Inside Life: Major League” will get up, close and personal with the Major League DJz as they tick off some of their bucket list adventures across the continent with their friends. Viewers see familiar faces such as Uncle Vinny and get introduced to Khaya Bengu, while learning about what goes on behind the scenes and get a glimpse of their personal relationships.
The first season of Inside Life: Major League will star cultural curator and tastemaker Uncle Vinny a cast member and friend of the show. From magazine covers to shutting down Braam, get ready to see how “The Don” takes over the game! Photographer to the stars Khaya Bengu will be joining the cast as we get to know the man behind the visuals of the music power group.
This week on Inside Life: Major League we are introduced to the duo’s road and bookings managers as they struggle to get the boys up on time. Drama ensues at a gig when the sound quality fails to meet the standards of the duo, will they put up with it or will they leave? We also see the crew having fun at the shooting range when Uncle Vinny experiences an unfortunate injury while aiming to shoot.
In the lead, up to the show’s premiere, the duo recently made history as stars of Moziak magazine’s first out of country shoot with their latest Pan African Cover! Shot on location at the iconic Makola Market in Accra, Ghana, this is fitting for the music supergroup who take us inside their lives as they embark on a cross country quest to take the sound of Amapiano to the world and this revolution will be televised!
