BTC Gives Away ‘another’ P100k Through The Recharge To Win Competition

BTC has yet again awarded a total of P100, 000 to ten (10) lucky customers who entered the revamped Recharge to win (R2W) competition. The customers, who are the second batch to win their share of P100, 000 participated in the ongoing recharge to win competition where ten lucky winners stand a chance to each win P10, 000 cash prizes monthly basis. The winners of the second round of the competition are Letso Mushayandebvu, Boikie Rantsha, Lonah Moitoi, Tshipietsile Motheletsi, Tshupoeng Gwamulumba, Kaone Okaile, Galebole Mmalane, Segametsi Rantlole, Batsha Tshepo Ntshie Poloko and Matshwenyego Onnetswe.

BTC Head of Brand Management, Thabo Modise stated that BTC being a brand that cares for people brought back the competition to reward customers who use its products and services, “we acknowledge that the first month of the year is generally considered to be financially challenging and we are grateful that BTC has brought back the competition and is awarding customers cash prizes during such a period”, he said. He also stated that the competition forms part of the exciting “Tsala tsa Summer” campaign through which the company made a promise to customers to make their summer exciting and different.

Mr Modise explained that to take part in the competition, one must simply dial *180#, to opt into the competition, then recharge with P100.00. He further explained that both mobile and fixed prepaid customers may enter the competition. He added that customers may recharge using any recharge channel e.g., BTC Smega, vouchers, virtual bank top ups and e-recharge). He stated that BTC has so far given away a total of P200,000 to 20 winners through this competition.

One of the winners, Lonah Moitoi stated that she entered the competition once and recharged with P100.00 and stated that she was surprised to receive a call from BTC stating that she had won herself P10,000 as she did not expect to win. The overjoyed Ms Moitoi advised other users of BTC services to enter the competition and try their luck, adding that “they might just win like I have won.” She stated that although she does not have a plan for the cash at the moment, she is grateful for the cash injection as she is currently unemployed.

Boikie Rantsha, who describes himself as a loyal BTC Mobile customer, stated that he has taken part in several other competitions over the years however this is the first time he has won a large sum of cash. He thanked BTC for the recharge to win competition and encouraged the company to continue the good deed.

Customers still stand a chance to win themselves the grand prize of P10,000 each every monthly by buying P100.00 worth of airtime and opting into the competition. The recharge to win competition is still ongoing.
