The accolades add to a strong year of recognition for the Group. Standard Bank was recently ranked South Africa’s most AI-mature bank and second overall across the Middle East and Africa in the inaugural Evident AI Index for Banks. Brand Finance named Standard Bank Africa’s and South Africa’s Most Valuable Banking Brand for the fifth consecutive year. The bank also secured top honours across six categories at the Euromoney Private Banking Awards 2026 earlier this year.
