This weekend, the 2025 Carling Black Label Sunday Soccer reached an exciting finale as Skontere SC claimed the Champions trophy, lifting it high to the roar of their supporters and securing the coveted P100,000 grand prize. Their victory was a proud moment reflecting passion, skill and determination throughout the tournament.
Bafana ba Style SC took second place with P60,000, Delta Warriors SC earned third with P40,000, while Bathobotlhe SC finished fourth with a P30,000 cash prize. Adding to the excitement, six lucky fans (Pelonomi Marvin Radihephi, Walter Kgosidintsi, Phatsimo Batsholelwang, Tshepiso Chilume, Goitsemodimo Leshomo, and Nicolas Mothobi) each won P50,000 through the Carling Black Label Scratch and Win national promotion.
Entertainment highlights included headlining performances by Master KG as well as local favourites Chokoma, Ngwazi, Juu Matere, and DJ Guyvos who kept the energy high, while Hey Nyeenaah and Kefus Leo expertly MCed the event.




Since its launch in 2024, the Carling Black Label Sunday Soccer campaign, presented by Carling Black Label in partnership with Kgalagadi Breweries Limited, has grown from 300 registered social clubs competing for a P75,000 prize to a nationwide movement involving over 400 registered social clubs, over 50 fixtures, and thousands of fans both in stadiums and online.
The official draw which took place on the 14th June 2025 set the stage for intense football, beginning with community selections of the Top 48 and progressing through knockout rounds of Top 32, Top 16, Top 8, and finally the Top 4, culminating in the Losers Final and Champions Final.
In her remarks, Country Marketing Director Ms. Tjendzimu Maswibilili emphasized that the 2025 theme, “Ke Bolo Ya Rona”, celebrates football’s unifying power, the passion of local talent and enriches grassroots football culture. She reaffirmed KBL’s commitment to growing alongside communities and customers through initiatives that empower, inspire, and create opportunities, such as the Carling Black Label Sunday Soccer.
