THOP Institute Launches Inaugural International Conference on Government and Communications (CIGC) in Africa

The THOP Institute, a think tank that is committed to fostering Africa’s economic and human development through the effective use of public relations and strategic communications is set to host the first-ever Conférence Internationale sur les Governments et les Communications (CIGC) at the Pullman Hotel in Abidjan on November 10, 2023. The CIGC is an annual forum designed for public sector communication professionals to exchange ideas, explore the latest trends, and redefine new approaches.

The theme for the inaugural event is “Building Trust between the Youth and Government,” and the conference will feature renowned government communication experts from around the world. Attendees can expect insightful presentations, practical workshops, and engaging conversations on topics such as crisis communication, youth engagement, combating misinformation, and the use of new media.

The conference also promises a unique opportunity for attendees to network with like-minded individuals and explore some of the most innovative and effective communication strategies with industry leaders.
