The Hotwire Family of Brands launches The Hotwire Academy

GABORONE – THURSDAY 18 MARCH 2021 – After years of work into establishing its training division, The Hotwire Family of Brands is finally set to open the doors of The Hotwire Academy. The Hotwire Academy is a dedicated Education Training Provider with a focus on Public Relations, Public Affairs, Reputation Management, Crisis Management and Stakeholder Relations. The Hotwire Academy will work to empower those in the communications field to have the requisite skills and expertise to show the full weight of what sound professional communications can offer.

We believe there continues to exist a gap that requires further professionalising of sector players for the industry to move forward. The Hotwire Academy is registered and accredited with Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA) as an Education and Training Provider (ETP), under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Consultancies category. The range of non-credit bearing short courses and learning programmes include:

Additional programmes are being developed all the time in line with the dynamic and ever-changing communications industry needs and professional standards demanded of communicators today. All learning programmes have been curated on a foundation of strategy, ethics, and global best practice.
Seasoned broadcaster and media executive, Phenyo Motlhagodi, joins The Academy as Coordinator. “There is a constant need for information by internal and external stakeholders.
