DStv Botswana just gets better with Showmax

DStv Premium customers in Botswana now get Showmax at no extra cost.

DStv Access, Compact and Compact Plus receive 50% off on Showmax subscription

Gaborone, Botswana; In an effort to continue bringing DStv Botswana subscribers the best in cutting-edge entertainment, DStv Premium subscribers will at long last enjoy an infinite library of binge-worthy television via Showmax at no additional cost. This development will provide more customers with an opportunity to stream their favourite shows from anywhere and at any time, giving customers more value at the same price.

Showmax is an internet TV service with a unique combination of hot local content, first and exclusive international series, premium documentaries, and the best kids’ shows. Showmax is streamed using apps for smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, computers, media players and gaming consoles, allowing customers to enjoy non-stop action and fun, whenever, wherever.

We are not only currently living in a digital era which calls for continuous access to fresh content, but we are also living in a time where value for money is even more essential than ever before. It is with this in mind that DStv has empowered customers with alternative viewing platforms, giving them more choice and options through Showmax.

“Staying safe, and staying at home, means more time finding enjoyment in the amazing content available on our television screens. Showmax is an absolute game-changer, set to ease all remote-control conflicts in our homes, whilst keeping us and our families occupied and entertained,” says Shadi Linchwe, Head of Marketing for MultiChoice Botswana. “With this streaming service customers can watch varying shows on two different devices simultaneously, so the kids can watch cartoons on their tablet without interrupting your movie binge. Showmax also has data saving settings and allows content to be downloaded to smartphones and tablets to watch later offline, it’s perfect for times when internet access is patchy.”

With this additional enhancement made to MultiChoice Botswana’s service offering, from the 11th of February, DStv Premium customers can stream or download whole seasons of the best local and international series, movies, and kids’ shows at no additional cost, while DStv Access, Family, Compact and Compact Plus customers can also enjoy Showmax at half the original subscription price.

Showmax is also home to exclusive content which customers can watch first before anyone else. Written and directed by former Broadway child star Alex Winters (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure), Showbiz Kids is a raw look at Hollywood and the toll that early success can have on young professionals and is available for streaming now, first on Showmax.
