GABORONE – Stanbic Bank Botswana ushered in the new year with a focus on giving back to the community, in line with the Bank’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) pillars, wherein Education and Health are key tenets. The Bank’s Finance team, led by the Chief Finance Officer, Mr. Chose Modise, presented a donation valued at P21, 114.75 to Therisanyo Primary School leadership.

We have a long-standing relationship with the students of Therisanyo Primary School, its leadership and the indeed the community. In a ceremonious occasion, Stanbic Bank, presented the following Items:
- Boys and girls’ underwear
- Boys and girls’ school shirts
- Boys and girls’ socks
- Boys and girls’ trousers; and
- Sanitary towels
The Bank continues to demonstrate a strong investment in Botswana’s youth, working to facilitate their growth to create the next generation of Africa’s millionaires and truly change the youth narrative in the country. Key to this was the official launch of the Stanbic Bank Botswana AcceleR8 co-working space. Furthermore, the Bank has an already large portfolio of efforts in the financial literacy and youth employability space with the beloved “Better My Lebotha” (BML) radio show, themed, “Let’s Talk Youth Employability + Entrepreneurship.
