Fly for free in Botswana with Wilderness Safaris

GABORONE, Botswana, November 2019 – Wilderness Safaris is thrilled to announce a flying offer that will entitle guests travelling with Wilderness Air to free flights when booking six nights at its Botswana camps from now until the end of February 2020. The free flights are applicable for travel dates between 12 November 2019 and 31 December 2021.     

“We’re delighted to introduce this innovative offering, which has taken fully inclusive up a level, and complexity down. By adding more value for our guests, we hope to also improve their safari experience. With this new benefit, guests can use Wilderness Air to do more travelling, and explore our extraordinary country while staying in any of Wilderness Safaris’ world-renowned camps located in distinctly different ecosystems,” said Kago Paul, Wilderness Air Botswana Acting Accountable Manager.

Full-paying guests who book a minimum of six nights in these camps will receive three complimentary flights, and guests booking a minimum of eight or more nights at our Wilderness Safaris Botswana camps will receive four complimentary flights. Guests can book Associated Product camps in the same itinerary but will need to book the minimum number of Wilderness Safaris camps in order to benefit from the offer. Those travelling with children and private guides are also eligible.

Wilderness Air Botswana has been providing guests with convenient and reliable air connection to remote wilderness areas across the Okavango Delta, Linyanti and Chobe since 1991. Over and above the Botswana flying circuit, the company also connects guests regionally through Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and Livingstone, Zambia, with sole-u\se charter options to connect directly to Namibia. Moving an average of 60 000 passengers annually, these include local, regional and international, as well as Wilderness staff members, in and out of Wilderness Safaris’ camps across northern Botswana.

With a fleet of 12 caravans, Wilderness Air Botswana remains deeply committed to uncompromising safety and providing exceptional guest service by ensuring training forms an important component of the company’s operations. In 2018, 60 internal training courses were held for both existing and new employees, and seven external training courses were completed for the company’s 22 pilots. Further evidence of its long-held dedication to excellence are the 1 106 hours of flight training covered in 2018. The company continues to operate with a light carbon footprint and manages its logistics with an environmentally-conscious approach.
