GABORONE, BOTSWANA — Neo Sebogodi’s first break into showbiz came sometime in 2015 as a finalist in the Miss Botswana pageant. A year later, 2016 she was crowned Miss Independence Botswana. Her spirits were revived and that’s when she realized she could make modeling a full time vocation.
To perfect her skills, she took part in several fashion events including the Masa Fashion show and President’s Day Competitions respectively, which ultimately contributed to her clinching a deal to become Prime Time presenter in 2017 – a corporate and lifestyle magazine that airs on Botswana television (BTV) at 20hr30 every Sunday.

What do you like doing during your spare time?
I love spending time with my friends and family because they are dear to my heart. I love listening to a lot of music especially dancehall reggae and really love my peace so sometimes I just want to be alone for peace of mind.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Idris Elba is my long time crush and locally its A.T.I, he is such a humble soul.
Are you single?
Well I’m not married so that qualifies as being single right?
How would someone get your special attention?
They just need have a genuine character and a little bit of sarcasm here and there.
What has been your worst/best date?
The food he ordered tasted awful but I just had to eat lest I offended him.
Would you date a fan?
What would you change your name to?
I wouldn’t, I love it because of its meaning and its manifestation. That is I am a gift to my family and the nation at large of course.

Speaking with a loud voice unnecessarily.
Do you ever get used to being a celebrity?
Well I really don’t think about it a lot hey. I just lead a normal lifestyle.

Do you speak any language?
I am learning Shona, so yes.
Where would you like to visit?
If you were not famous what would you be up to?
Actually all the things I would say still get me known all around because of the work ethic I have but maybe I’d be in the military. I love the military.
Who is the messiest person you know?
Eunice, that’s one friend of mine, she is going to kill me when she sees this (laughs).
What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?
Miss Botswana 2019 show exceeding my expectations. I so loved it.
