Botswana’s sexy and stunningly attractive Hip-hop lyricist, Sasa Klaas is over the moon after scoring big in the neighbouring country, South Africa. Her excitement comes in the wake of her new television gig, a new development which will see the overly gifted Hip-hop heroine hosting a new reality TV show dubbed ‘Highly Inappropriate’ alongside the legendary RSA media personality, Phat Joe. The show is expected to beam on DStv’s channel 157 starting this Valentine’s day.
Sasa joins other myriad Batswana exports to RSA such as DJ Fresh, O’neal and The Ferguson family, just to name a few, who have broken barriers to fly the Botswana flag internationally in the dog-eat-dog showbiz industry. The 24-year-old “Mmamongwato” hitmaker relocated to Johannesburg, South Africa late last year to prepare and start her new television gig.
Prior to her relocation, Sasa had performed at the DStv iRock festival in Rustenburg – a show that will truly remind the South African audiences about her prowess. Speaking exclusively to #BotswanaUnplugged, Sasa noted that although the new show is a big platform for her to cement herself on television presenting, she will also use it to market her music further.
Narrating on the nature of the show, Sasa said it is basically a celebrity show where the engagement will see Phat Joe and her interchanging deejaying; a phenomenon she described as a new venture in her music career.
“I remember vividly when Phat (Joe) said who could be the DJ in the show and he scraped it and said let’s do it and started introducing me as the co-host to the crew. The show is more like your TLC type, so I’m sure I will be good. However, I will be also coming to Botswana for the shooting of the new soapie dubbed ‘Pillars’ which I also play a leading role in. So really 2018 is going to be a busy year for me.”
Meanwhile, Phat Joe who did not want to reveal much about the show and his new co-host has described Sasa as an equally equipped and talented individual who can be entrusted to run the new show dubbed ‘High Inappropriate’. He said viewers must expect the unscripted. Phat Joe has done numerous television shows and things seem pretty amazing for Botswana’s new kid on the South African television block, Sasa.
“Two highly inappropriate people working together, equals an extremely inappropriate show, expect the unexpected and lots of fun,” said Joe.
