Botswana Telecommunications Corporation Limited (BTC) has launched new mobile corporate offers in a push for improved customer experience on the mobile network. At a glam themed night held recently at Game City Mall rooftop, the company announced new products aimed at improving business communications.
BTC General Manager Support Services, Mmamotse Monageng said the new offers were meant to bridge any communications gaps and give customers the best customer experience on how they go about with their daily business.
“We are excited to be launching these new mobile corporate offers that will truly impact our customers. All these were designed to get the user in the driver’s seat, they will have the ability to build their own voice and data packages, a first in the market.”
Monageng said the corporation is in a trajectory to revamp the telecommunications industry by providing needs specific products as a response to customer demands for improved connectivity.
Presenting the new product range, Account Management Manager, Emeldah Rosales stated that the corporate offers include Build Your Own Package (BYOP) – a solution which allows a subscriber to create their own mobile packages based on their usage patterns and specific needs.
“This provides our customers with flexibility and the freedom to choose what they need for their communication,” said Rosales.
Rosales further highlighted the benefits of the Automated Credit Loading (ACL) and Business offers.
“ACL, is a hybrid-prepaid facility based on a contract period. It allows the business to monitor usage and cap costs with the option to top up credit should they run out. This is a great tool to avoid any bill shocks at the end of the month. Business offers allows subscribers an option of unlimited usage. Customers also have an option of deciding how to use their in-bundle benefits, be it international calls, cross-net, on-net data or sms,” Rosales stated.
Also speaking at the launch, BTC General Manager Sales, Mokgethi Nyatseng said they are working on providing more cutting-edge solutions to the market.
“We are the home of telecommunications, our products range from fixed, to data to mobile, so we are the only ones in the industry who have the ability to actually innovate within all these platforms. As part of our broader strategy, we are making a brand promise for high quality service at the right price.”
Nyatseng further noted that the corporation will continue to push the barrier in terms of solutions in an effort to reach more people.
“We remain the network with the widest network reach and with our infrastructure strength, we can only grow from here,” Nyatseng concluded.
