In news that is expected to thrill, the inaugural VIB Good Radio Awards slated for Masa Square Hotel this Saturday in Gaborone will not only be a glamorous affair but will also accord novices in the industry an opportunity to learn from their predecessors.
The first of its kind awards pioneered by former radio star, Jazzelle Kebakile will host a talk shop on the same afternoon prior to the dazzling night where broadcast legends from across the country are expected to share their fountain of wisdom with the current and new crop as well as other stakeholders. This week, we saw a few Botswana radio personalities taking to social media platforms to solicit support from their listeners after the organisers announced that they have managed to secure sponsors for certain categories at the awards.
#BotswanaUnplugged suspects that the money bait is doing wonders in getting the personalities to talk more about the awards as they canvass support to clinch the coveted prize moneys, which will come in handy during the festive season.
