Multichoice Botswana & Botswana Life unite to reward loyal DStv customer

Just yesterday (Wednesday), Multichoice Botswana launched the Realeboga Funeral Insurance Reward aimed at thanking all eligible pay-television customers for their continuous loyalty to DStv.
“Since March 2017, MultiChoice has rewarded loyal customers with extra channels, and extra Sport-related content as a ‘Thank You’ for their consistency and loyalty as part of the DStv THANKS incentive programme. This is a customer-focused programme aimed at recognizing and rewarding subscribers for their commitment to the brand. Customers who qualify for this programme include those with subscriptions that have remained continuously connected to DStv nonstop for three months or more,” revealed Multichoice Botswana Marketing and PR Manager, Thembile Ndzinge at the new product reveal held at The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort on Wednesday afternoon.
Multichoice Botswana General Manager, Theo Erasmus his organisation’s key focus is, and has always been to put customer’s needs at the heart of everything they do.
“We pride ourselves in playing a role in enriching the lives and it is on the basis of this that we decided to reward our loyal subscribers and their spouses with funeral cover,” added Erasmus.
During the launch, Multichoice Botswana explained that ‘The Realeboga Funeral Insurance Reward’ which is underwritten by Botswana Life, forms part of their recently launched retention programme dubbed DStv THANKS.
“The reward is aimed at thanking eligible customers for their continuous loyalty to DStv by ensuring that they are covered in the event of their passing.”
“By staying connected for three months on any DStv package, subscribers qualify to receive cover for themselves and their spouses at no excess cost. The cover will vary depending on the package subscribed to and will continue to increase with each month of active subscription until a BWP14, 000 cap is reached,” explained Multichoice Botswana Retentions Manager, Ramolelwane Makubate.
“We are excited to be launching the Realeboga Funeral Insurance Reward because though our core business is providing entertainment through our exciting content and subscription packages, the core reason for our existence is the relationship we have with our customers. This reward allows us to fortify those relationships at no inconvenience or extra cost to the subscriber.”
According to Multichoice Botswana, all DStv Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Family and Access customers above the age of 18 that have been continuously connected for a period of three consecutive months and more are eligible.
“The value of the customer’s funeral insurance cover depends on the DStv package they are subscribed to and the length their subscription has been active. The cover increases each month that they are connected to DStv.”
