The capital city Gaborone continues to play host to an array of international celebrities especially those coming from South Africa. While Gaborone was still recovering from the daunting aura of USA musician, Rick Ross who graced our shores during New Year’s courtesy of an MTN Botswana and Fables gig at Duma FM Grounds, word reaching #BotswanaUnplugged is that RSA actor, Oros Mampofu popularly known as Jama from his role with SABC 1’s high school oriented soapie; Skeem Saam and his Phila role, a gay young man in the Mzansi Magic drama of Igazi is scheduled to arrive in Botswana’s leafy suburb of Phakalane hosted by the up market club, Cigar Lounge.
Mampofu is scheduled to make a celebrity guest appearance at Cigar Lounge on the 25TH of February. The 24-year-old joins a host of other celebrities from South Africa who have previously partied down a storm at Cigar Lounge, where a few Batswana ladies reportedly lost their morals.
The RSA stars who have graced Cigar Lounge in the past include Maps Maponyane who was given a warm welcome courtesy of a few Batswana women who flashed their tits in his face. This scenario caused so much furore to a point that the club was left with no choice but to ban the naughty and overly excited ladies from ever entering the venue.
Just recently, we also saw the visit by the ladies’ favourite man, Lungisa who seemed to have enjoyed his Botswana stay. In a video shared via Facebook, Mampofu said he looked forward to meeting Batswana for the first time especially the ladies.
