GABORONE, BOTSWANA – ChelseaNYC salon spa made its mark well over a year ago when it first opened its doors in Botswana, housed in the popular game City Mall in Gaborone, and this Thursday (27th of February 2019), cemented that presence with an official launch soiree for key stakeholders. The night was an eventful one filled with glamour, music and the CHELSEA experience, transporting guests to New York City for the night, and very much in keeping with how the salon transplants one to the Big Apple by providing clean, modern and unique facilities.
Guests at the soiree were welcomed with the signature ‘Blue CHELSEA Cocktail’ as they networked with the CHELSEA team, who are dedicated to raising the bar and redefining the local beauty industry through a wholly new-to-Botswana concept. Amidst cool cocktails and savory canapés, guests had the opportunity to be treated to luxurious pedicure treatments by the salon’s highly trained therapists.
CHELSEA, the no appointment nail, beauty and grooming salon, is part of the same family of brands as SOHO, which has branches in Johannesburg and Cape Town. SOHO is the brainchild of entrepreneur Getty Gizaw, who began her career 10 years ago in New York. CHELSEA offers express manicure, pedicure, waxing, threading and massage services. Treatments are designed for the busy man or woman on the go, and even caters for children. Appointments are not accepted at CHELSEA. Further stamping the NYC ethos, the salon is a walk-in, first come, first serve service experience. If guests are not able to come to the store, CHELSEA Mobile services will travel to them, where services such as manicures, pedicures and massages are provided.
