The attorney turned entrepreneur, together with his partner, Donald Nnoto are the brains behind one of Botswana’s bespoke suit labels, KENO SUITS. We recently pinned him down to answer the below 10 questions…
Are you more of a hunter or a gatherer?
I am definitely a Hunter. I am a go – getter, I set my eyes on my target and get it, no matter the odds.
We finish the interview and you step outside the office and find a BWP10 million lottery ticket. What would you do?
I am a fair person, I will by any means possible try and find the owner. Once I find them, I will convince them that they will make more if they give some to me, lol. If I don’t find them, I’d keep it and make more of it, it would have been my lucky day. I will then make another 10M and make impact more and more people in life positively.
What’s your favourite ’90s jam?
Oh man, that’s a difficult one, there is plenty, why one; ok I’ll just say; Puff Daddy – Missing You.
If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?
A lion. I mean hey, I did say I am a hunter; king of the jungle. I like being King and dominating at whatever I do or choose to pursue.
What was the last gift you gave someone?
Last gift I gave someone was a book by Joel Osteen for my mother, and a Tswana bible (she was very particular) for my grandmother.
Tell me something about your last job, other than money, that would have inspired you to keep working there…
I lived the business environment there; it was relaxed but very driven and a high performance culture that exposed me to new concepts in law and business. Plus we got free drinks every month end.
What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?
Ah honestly, I can’t recall anything hey, not that I am not a funny guy, lol. One thing that really cracked me up recently was one of Mjamaica’s videos that was doing the rounds.
Pretend you’re our President. What three concerns about the country’s future keep you up at night?
The state of our economy and efforts to diversify it.
The creative sector.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by the will/desire to be the best at whatever I do, to create a legacy for those after me and become that Change Factor.
What do you work towards in your free time?
I Read. I Rest and just bumming. Watch a few Series / Movies
