What do you like doing in your spare time?
I like reading, working out and taking long naps.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Are you single?
How would someone get your attention?
Ironically enough by paying attention. I like people who pay attention to detail and remember the little things.
What has been your worst/best date?
I have actually never had a terrible date. As for best date, probably my first date with my partner. We met for dinner at 8pm but ended up leaving the mall close to 1am coz we had lost track of time. It was effortless.
Would you date a fan?
Nope, I would not date a fan, never LOL!
What would you change your name to?
I love so many names. I like picking one that’s hard but if I had to pick I would say April. It’s my birthday month and it’s easier on the tongue.
What’s your biggest pet peeve (something that’s particularly annoying)?
People who can’t keep time and don’t communicate the fact that they will be late annoy me. I also dislike inconveniences.
What’s your most annoying habit?
I am a bit OCD, so I check everything four times. For example I check the door four times after locking.
Do you ever get used to being a celebrity?
Hahahaha, I think so, it now feels like a norm.
Who is your inspiration?
Different people for different reasons:
Beyonce-For her ability to be calculated with what she puts out about her life and craft. She is able to engage with her fans and still maintain her privacy.
Bonang Matheba-For her consistency in delivering well and commercializing her brand with various collaborations and spin offs.
Kefilwe Mabote-Her style is always immaculate and her ability to greatly commercialize her personal brand.
Cassper Nyovest-His ability to commercialize everything he touches is commendable.
Michelle Obama-She defines black girl magic for me: Style, Intellect and strength.
Lastly Oprah Winfrey-She is a force.
Do you speak any language?
Setswana and English only. I would love to learn French one day.
Where would you like to visit?
Lol, I have so many places I want to visit but my Top 3 are Miami, Ibiza and Paris.
If you were not famous, what would you be up to?
As in if I wasn’t a creative? I have no idea hey. I think I would be owning multiple businesses (Property and Transport) which I still hope to own in future.
Who is the messiest person you know?
I have no idea. I dislike messy places because of my above-mentioned OCD so I think whenever I visit people they tidy up and when they visit me they behave so I never see the mess.
What the most interesting thing you have read or seen this week?
The current state of affairs in Zimbabwe (#ZimbabweShutDown)
It’s really disheartening what’s happening to our neighbors.
What would you like to be remembered about you?
That I lived my truth, everyday often times people in the public eye put up facades but I pride myself in being my true self, both in person and in the scope of “celebville”.
What message would you like to give to your fans?
Be present, live each day to the fullest as tomorrow is not guaranteed.
