MOGODITSHANE, BOTSWANA; Many will remember her eminent rise in the local showbiz panorama as one Vee Mampeezy’s dancers from back in the days. However, things changed for the better for the young and gifted lass when her mentor, Vee dug deep into his pockets after seeing something unique about this talented and all-round performer and paid DJ Chabo to teach Girly how to spin records.

Just a like a duck takes to the water, Botshelo Mosweu, aged 27 alias Girly took the deejaying classes well, and ultimately turned a new leaf. Towards the end of 2018, Girly teamed up with veteran producer, Daddy SKI to produce her debut studio album. Her popular songs; DiBodi and Bare Bairang continue to enjoy massive airplay in local radio stations. She is this week’s crush…

Bonding with my daughter, Brooklyn or surfing the net for all the juice, scoops and latest trends.

Who is your celebrity crush?

Material Dondada, the biggest Skhotane in South Africa. He notices me and he likes all my pictures on Instagram.

Are you single?

I’m very single. Ha-ha! Even you can see my fingers, there’s nothing. Someone better put a ring on it. And fast!

How would someone get your special attention?

Well, getting me a pair of carvela and Adidas outfits, and expensive sunglasses. You will certainly have my full attention.

What has been your best/worst date?

My best date was one time at South Africa’s Mall of Africa. I dined at some expensive restaurant. I remember there was this guy whose fork fell and he picked it up from the floor, used it again instead of asking for a clean one. Ha-ha!

Would you date a fan?
