In its ongoing mission to deliver value to its customers by making great video entertainment accessible, MultiChoice Botswana is pleased to announce the appointment of Katlego Arnone in the capacity of Managing Director, effective 3 September 2018.
As a business firmly rooted in Botswana, MultiChoice is managed and run by local people. Arnone will take the helm of the MultiChoice business that has grown hand in hand with local communities in the last 20 years, which has a direct economic impact of some $ USD 3.6 million annually. MultiChoice Botswana employs 80 employees and its national footprint comprises of 69 retailers, 90 accredited installers, 6 agents and 24 direct sales force agents who collectively commit to putting DStv customers at the heart of their daily decisions.
Arnone’s new role will include a sharp focus on customer service and reshaping the business to improve on customer experience, whenever and wherever there is customer engagement. As a highly experienced, successful and well-regarded business leader with over 22 years of relevant experience in Botswana, Congo-Brazzaville, Uganda, Zambia and Namibia, Arnone is well positioned to take on the new challenge. Before joining MultiChoice, Arnone held the position as Chief Commercial Officer at Liquid Telecom. She holds an MSc in Leadership and Change Management from Leeds Metropolitan University and a B.Com Management from the University of Botswana.
