Joyous Celebration expected to ignite the Life Changing Concert!

South Africa’s multi-award winning Gospel group, Joyous Celebrations through their co-founder and choir master Lindaleni Mkhize has reaffirmed the ongoing fanfare about town that the group will perform in Gaborone’s University of Botswana Sports Arena on August 25, 2018, at a show conspicuously dubbed The Life Changing Concert.

This is the third the group has performed in Gaborone, Botswana courtesy of a local sound production company, Brave Heart. The highly ‘professional and demanding’ gospel group return to our home soil after going A.W.O.L from their local fans something Braveheart categorically said was a learning curve on their part.

Addressing the local media recently at Travelodge Braveheart Managing Director, Joe Manuel said in the last two editions that they have hosted the renowned Gospel crooners they were quite pleased with the overwhelming response  as they managed to sell over 1, 500 tickets and 2, 500 tickets respectively. He said Joyous Celebrations literally takes one through thorough their meticulous itinerary a thing which subsequently contributes to a better production of the overall show.

“Hosting Joyous Celebrations is a good challenge to any company that may want to hire them, they are a bunch of professionals in all areas. What we normally see on stage is a glimpse of that entire moving ship when it is ignited. They have make-up artists, wardrobe staff, technical crew and every section needs a proper flow of events leading to having the group on stage. So as a company, they have outlined to us how we have to be in their specifications hence tickets has been on sale three months before the show; the venue is much more bigger and is also broadcast-friendly than the previous ones. In the past we never had a press briefing but today we are here and the group members are here too. This is just to confirm that indeed the show is happening and it will be big and better,” said an excited Manuel.

Not only will the show fuel the already ignited spirit of gospel in the country but it will further offer local Gospel groups an opportunity to showcase with the renowned international group. “The concert, which will be held at the University of Botswana Indoor Arena will also feature local artistes and comedians, whose names are yet to be finalized, and will be revealed in due course.” Meanwhile, Mkhize expressed gratitude towards the hospitality he always receive when in Botswana something he said brings them much closer to home away from their homes.

Mkhize further appreciated the numerous Joyous Celebrations fans from all corners of the country adding that this is what fuels him and his group to continue churning hit after hit.  “It was long overdue for Joyous Celebration to come back to Botswana. This upcoming concert is both a journey and an experience because we will perform and give our outmost best on stage.” He further said they are hoping that the partnership with Brave Heart would grow into establishing this concert as an annual show.

With over 3, 000 tickets sold so far for a 7, 000 sitting capacity, Mkhize further pleaded with Batswana to attend in large numbers and experience the best of Joyous Celebrations. The group is anticipated to perform and offer Batswana fours of enchanted worship.  Other cast members such as Andiswa Mbantsa, Khayelihle Sibanyoni, Phumzile Luthuli and Saone Sefako who in between intervals gave snippets of what could be expected next month were also in the country alongside Mkhize.

Tickets are already on sale at Webtickets and Braveheart for P300 silver circle and P400 golden circle respectively.
